The sculpture is made from a so-called tree pearl. The organically abstract form has the special feature that it is already slightly frosted and therefore appears even more lively. The burl wood is partially treated with resin several times. This allows the grain of the heartwood to shine through. The tuber itself is treated with fine wax and stands out not only in terms of its feel but also its color. The tree of this 2.7 kilogram lucky charm was probably a black alder tree. There are many stories to read about tree beads, if you are interested in them just google them. The sculpture is signed roko (Roland Köpfer), a certificate with the work number 1083 is included in the shipment.
