Woodcut print of cafe interior, with a family sitting around a table.
I created this image in September 2014 with waterbased inks, two blocks, and Japanese Masa paper. I made the print by hand using the traditional bamboo baren to rub the paper onto the blocks to pick up the ink. The image is from sketches I made in one of the many Durham cafes.
Materials used:
Masa paper, water based inks, baren.
