Original artwork description:

This hand-crafted wall sculpture is part of my new wood-grain inspired collection.
It is molded with cellulose on a wooden support.
Once dry, the modeling is impregnated with epoxy resin and completely covered with 1000/1000 real silver leaf.
The patina look is obtained by oxidizing the silver leaf in chemicals.
The process gives it warm tones and turns the silver into light golden shades.
The shades change into reddish brown and in the darker spots they get the blue-green effect
of the patina look.
Each patina has a different and unique look.
The surface of the bas-relief is finally covered with a satin finish which protects the sculpture from dust and further oxidation.
