This is a tribute to the wooden spoon which has been honoured in many cultures for thousands of years. Wooden spoon collectors all over the world could acquire a unique piece here. The object consists of two main parts if you leave out the cork, the leather strap and the sand. A spoon made of birch burl that can be inserted into the hollowed out bamboo. The bamboo tube holds 50 ml and has an inner diameter of 30 millimetres. The length of the bamboo is 40 cm. The length of the spoon is 25 cm, width 13, depth 4 cm, total length is 55 cm, weight: 354 grams. The bamboo root is dried, cleaned and sealed with precious wax. The wooden spoon, which has a cork attached to it so that it can close the bamboo tube, is also sealed with precious wax. The assemblage can be hung on a wall; a thin leather strap is attached to it. An individual frame, which is not included in the scope of delivery, is of course very nice. A certificate with the work number 1094 from the artist Roland Köpfer is enclosed with the shipment.
