There are moments of anguish Nothing but a single void Forgetting myself, I barely close my eyes SEA OF LIGHT! SEA OF FIRE! And so tremulously beckon big lights How beautiful you are-a wonderful city of dreams!
I am asked why I often depict Paris, what this country has captured me, and how it inspires me again and again to new large canvases. You won't believe it, but I've never visited France. Probably, the constant dreams and a great desire to see this country with my own eyes, so strongly took possession of my subconscious that they spill it out. The artist writes about what captures him, about his dreams or experiences. Unfortunately, visiting Paris is just a small dream for me, but it gives me a lot of potential for creativity. Perhaps this is why, when creating my paintings, I do not go into the details of architecture, do not try to convey the exact design of the Eiffel tower, but concentrate on the States of nature, on the play of highlights and shadows that can arise perhaps only in my imagination. I try to convey the mood, state of mind, state of nature using painting, to plunge the viewer into what I feel.
