A Woman and her Cat, together. Both are starring intensely and expecting what is going to happen...a painting of a friendship, set in the blue hour. This artworks celebrates the strong connection between humans and animals, which brings a lot of joy even in times of melancholy.
When the work was finished, the artist, who has been growing up in Munich, realized that in this painting a certain influence of german and austrian artists of symbolism and , concerning the color contrasts, also of expressionism is visible.
In her childhood she always had been adoring the works of Gustav Klimt, Franz von Stuck, Alexej Jawlensky and Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, which are exhibited in the Art Museums of Munich as well as from Odile Redon; Ferdinand Hodler and Edvard Munch.
The vivid colors transport strong emotions and love for life.
