Original artwork description:

I was inspired by a trip to see 'Handmade in India' at the Crafts Council Gallery in London in 1998.
I saw a beuatiful fine embroidered Kurta and imagined what it must be like to wear one.
I've decorated the woman's hands with henna tattoos and the overall colour is using chakra or rainbow colours.

Painted in watercolour and gold acrylics.

Available unframed.

Wrapped in acid-free tissue, packed carefully and sent by Tracked Delivery.
