Original artwork description:

This Irish woman is looking at the viewer, hair aflame, with a glowing earring lighting her hair. She is wearing a green woollen cardigan of an elaborate design. (based on one which I owned at the time)

This pastel drawing from 1987 was used to illustrate a book-jacket.
The book was titled The Irish Widow by Harriet Herbst and was published by Piatkus Books in London.

It is drawn in quality chalk pastels on Somerset 300gsm paper, made in England.

The drawing is available unframed and packed carefully, wrapped in acid-free tissue.

It will be sent with a Certificate of Authenticity, by Tracked Delivery.
