Outside the Naggar castle in Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India, I found this woman sitting on a small rock, holding her lamb under a clear blue sky. It was a cool sunny day in April and deodar trees and the Pir Panjal montain ranges of the Himalayas surrounded her.

Between Kullu and Manali in Himachal Pradesh in India lies the quaint little town of Naggar.


The painting is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Please note that the colors of the original painting may slightly vary from what they appear here, although best efforts are made to capture the colors as close to the original, as possible.

The painting is on stretched linen canvas and will be securely packed in a cardboard box.
