A woman's face, calm and pensive, contemplating light.
Painted through December 2021.
I wanted to maintain the sketchy quality of the pencil drawing on the wooden panel.
The colours that I've used are in thin washes to keep these graphite lines visible.
My palette is minimal: it's my favourite combination of Phthalo Blue and Burnt Sienna with highlights in Titanium White.
I've used Winsor & Newton professional acrylics and finished the painting off with a fine layer of Archival Gloss Varnish.
Ready to hang in a simple but professionally made black, wooden, tray frame.
Packed carefully and sent by Courier along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
