So often, we don't realize that the unremarkable, day to day existence we take for granted will eventually be the "good old days". Eventually one day a sight, sound, or even a scent, will overcome us with nostalgia for places or people no longer in our lives. We then see in our minds eye; the memories of treasures that we never knew we had.

In this creation, passion blends with oil to evoke the serenity of living along the river. The light on the water, the sounds and smell of riparian life. A tranquil respite from life's pace—a horizon promising calm.
