Every year I paint my magnolia tree. This tree is 28 years old and an icon of the area that I live in. I paint it several times during the year at different points of flowering. I look at it from my bedroom window and at the moment wish the rain would stop the amazing number of buds would open out in the sun.

An underpainting of acrylics, overpainted with oils.

For overseas buyers, the canvas will be taken off the stretcher bars and rolled. Sent in a tube.
