I painted this one 'en Plein air' this January in the winter sunshine.
Although the temperatures have been quite cold, minus 5 some nights, I was able to find this relatively sheltered spot in the sunshine and out of the wind.
The light was consistent and cool throughout the painting sessions and gave some lovely muted colours and tonal harmonies - a kind of a 'rhythm'
