Winter Sun Landscape, is a beautiful, small realist oil painting, measuring 10 x 8 inches (approx 25x 20cm).

Inspired by walks in the Cambridgeshire Fens that surround the artist’s home, the painting captures the early light on this typical fen landscape on a January morning.

The artist’s unsentimental approach to his subjects combine two great passions - a love of traditional painting techniques and a fascination with the photographic image. The result of this are paintings that are both painterly and highly realistic.

Winter Sun Landscape, is painted on a gesso panel. It is signed on the back and supplied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
