"Winter snow" , oil on paper, 57X75 cm

This winter lanscape comes from my imagination. I particularly love the blurry effects done with the oil painting. It gives an atmospheric aspect to the artwork. Main colors are indigo blue and white. The painting is done in "camaïeu" of indigo blue. Indigo mixed to white gives a sort of interesting bluish grey.
I imagined a northern polar country, with cold wind on the hills, and the snow flying like white transparent fabric... Winter time, polar night, blizzard... With the tiny light of sun at the horizon, appearing only for 1 hour, then plunging again the land in the night... I specially love the northern countries !

This is an original painting, signed on the back.
