The images in this four-part series are inspired by the arctic winter light and colors. In contrast to the landscape format, I chose a portrait format. This creates a window-like character. The composition is reduced to two surfaces. Traces of movement appear on the horizon, creating a sense of expanse and restrained dynamism. This artwork was painted with acrylic paint on paper with a smooth surface.
