From a winter's walk near the Exmoor village of Winsford and the Punchbowl, I have tried to capture here the essence of winter in the Westcountry: no snow, but lemony green fields and dark clouds bringing regular showers. It was a delight to return to painting in oils, but it did mean a delay in showing you this picture, due to the drying time of oil paints...
