Just South of Cape Wrath on the extreme NW corner of the Scottish mainland there are several boulder strewn gullies cut into the low cliffs so typical of that stretch of coastline. Among the tumbled boulders and slabs of rock are tree trunks and all manner of flotsam. In winter, waves pile into these gullies tearing at the fabric of the cliffs & effortlessly tossing huge rocks and debris around.
