Winter Road to the Gas Well is based on a photo I took on the family farm near Gerry NY after a Thanksgiving Day snow storm a few years ago. It is painted with professional quality Windsor and Newton oils on 16 X 20 inch stretched canvas. The narrow 1/2 inch sides of the canvas have been painted black so it can be hung without a frame, although it would look fabulous in a wide black and silver frame. It is not wired but can be hung on the stretcher edge. The first shot was taken outdoors in bright shade and the rest are indoor shots.
