Original artwork description:

This acrylic painting is of Wast Water in The Lake District. I have used a palette knife and thick paint to give texture especially on the hills and brushwork on the smooth surface of the water.
There is a dusting of snow on the mountain tops and a cool breeze is rippling across the surface of the water. Dry, crisp grasses glow in the winter sun on the waters edge. This scene epitomises the beauty of the Lakes for me.

This painting is in a white painted wooden frame and is ready to hang.
