Original artwork description:

Inspired by one of my many walks with the hound, this was in the local woods on a winter's morning when the sun was shining through the bare trees and there was a slight mist rising from the ground. The light was magical and made me want to try to capture the scene as a painting; I think this gives an idea of the feeling of the morning.

Painted from photos taken on my phone, I have tried to capture an emotion rather than copy exactly the setting; you might recognise the place if you were walking there but it would not be exact! Part of what I enjoy about painting is selecting and changing aspects while still trying to keep the feelings and emotions of the place.

Acrylic paint on paper, this comes with a certificate of authenticity.
