I love the winter months around where I live for the beautiful skies full of drama and beauty. This is the first painting of a series of Winter Sky paintings that I'm working on. It's an oil on canvas and I've worked over a number of days layering oil paint to create this atmospheric piece. I hope it captures something of my emotive response to the landscape around me.
