This is a drypoint engraving and mono print which started as a pencil sketch of Hyde Park in winter.

Drypoint is a form of etching where the image is scratched directly onto the plate without any need for acid. I love the thicker and slightly blurry line which this technique offers.

Orders are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue and rolled into a thick-walled 10cm wide cylinder and shipped signed and tracked within four days.

Materials used:

Somerset Satin paper 300g, Intaglio printing inks, perspex plate, etching press
