Artwork description:

This is one of my earlier patchwork landscape etchings of which only two remain from an edition of 50. This etching was created on a copper plate - tiny grooves and pits were made using a variety of resists and ferric chloride. The plate was inked up in several colours then wiped back carefully before being printed onto high quality hahnemuhle paper on a traditional etching press (a bit like a mangle if you can remember mangles!) The plates are inked and printed by hand for every print in the edition. This original print is the last one in the edition - no others will be offered for sale.

The frame is solid oak with no finish - just beautiful natural wood. It is ready to hang with d-rings and string attached. It is very well packed in a spacious box with padding all round.
