This expressive monochrome watercolor painting catches the moonlight atmosphere at the Baltic Sea in a snowy winter night, where I spent many nights watching the sea in moonlight... I miss real snow very much!

Watermarks and lines, scratches and other watercolor effects are important to my work and keep fascinating me. This special painting was done spontaneously on a stable acid free cardboard back of a normal watercolor pad, so you can frame it normally but also without glass or floating in an object frame. This gives you a lot of choices.

Watercolor on 5mm thick cardboard 31x31 cm. Sprayvarnished.
Signed and titled on front and on the back. Certificate of authenticity.
