Original artwork description:

A series of paintings on board and canvas painted plein air in the Sussex landscape. I've been trying to capture the mood and feel of the place and time, feeling the crisp, cold air, hearing the wind and russling of leaves. The earthy warm colours of falling leaves, mud, grass and twigs in the soft winter light.
Some of these paintings have been finished in the studio but as all the paintings have started their life outside, you could find the odd pine needle or piece of grass stuck in the paint!

This particular painting 'Through the hedge' is painted on board and has a deep edge so can be hung as is or frames. It has been coated with a protective coat of varnish.
