Black-lined composition on textured oils on gallery-wrap canvas.
As a devotee of natural surroundings, I don't tend to choose a permanent city residence. But the lines and reflective designs of a city's composition intrigue. They translate on my canvas as energy grids. This cityscape suggests a winter scene to me, hence the title. I enjoy thoughts of busy streets, winter coats, breath reflected in cold air, and of course dreams of Spring and Summer to come. Contrasts enrich each other considerably, on canvas and otherwise.
