Original artwork description:
‘Wings to fly away on’ came about from a drawing which I did in Florence, Italy – June 2013 while I was visiting that wonderful Italian city. I have drawn wings and angel wings for a while now so finally put the wings onto a canvas. Which I found to be harder to paint than drawing so this painting has a lot of layers. As I enjoyed painting this canvas with putting my SOUL into it. After posting am image of this work onto my facebook page I received some amazing comments back which I appreciated.
