'Wine And Song All Summer Long' is an original drawing measuring 185mm x 245mm in size. Little hare sits on hand stained paper which gives him an aged appearance like an old calico toy.
'Wine And Song All Summer Long' has been drawn in pencil and ink. Texture and detail has then been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at close up. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing.
'Wine And Song All Summer Long' is a tribute to my friends who are happy with the simple things in life and find pleasure in almost everything...wine and song being pretty much at the top of that list...
