The prevailing winds across U.K. come from the west, recently there have been a lot of northerlies. A few weeks ago it was very windy for late summer and the winds quite definitely came from the west. The sky was very active and brisk, clouds tumbled in the wind. My painting Winds from the West aims to capture some of that rapid cloud movement. Painted on a Burnt Sienna ground in oils. Presented in a narrow float frame painted soft white. Shipped carefully packed flat with an artist’s certificate, dispatched with a track and trace identity.
