Original artwork description:

A landscape with the image of the rising sun, which I saw this January during one of my morning walks in my native village of Berestivets, Ukraine. The contrasting combination of soft pastel colors of the sky with the dark color of plowed land and withered grass gives a natural range of colors that are soothing to the eyes. Winter is a time when the sky is especially transparent and gentle. I tried to recreate all the tenderness and subtlety of the morning sky.
The elongated shape of the canvas, resembling a window, allows you to maximally combine the vertical of the sky and the earth and invites the viewer to become a part of this landscape.
