Original artwork description:

A diptych consisting of two paintings measuring 50 by 100 cm each depicting a sunrise in Ukraine. The delicate pastel colors of the sky - blue, pink, peach, purple - are combined with the deep brown color of the earth. A majestic lonely tree raised its branches to a high clear sky with light clouds. The black bare branches of the tree are like lace on a clean canvas of the sky. The rising sun sends the first rays to the cold fresh earth.
Both paintings resemble windows. They can be placed on the wall at different levels: for this, I depicted the horizon line on both paintings also at different levels.

Oil on a gallery canvas, signed and dated on the back.
