She started painting one and ended up making a series with porcelain figurines. There is a certain innocence and tenderness about the figures that appeals to her. The figures talk about an utopia or hyper idealized world, of time passing . Each figurines belong to a certain period with certain values and tastes. Each carries a story; who made them, who bought them, whom where they offered to , who cherished or discarded them.
