Original artwork description:

I bought the Snapper fish for supper but decided paint it instead. So I made up a still life with the lemons, sunflowers and the fish. The Snapper fish had such lovely colours and patterns that it made a very interesting and colourful still life. I added the ceramic bowl which had colours which blended in with the composition. The view through the window was the French town of Niece with the see and beach visible. I let my artistic side run riot using the bright Mediterranean sun and the turquoise of the sea my favourite colours. This is a mainly pastel painting framed under glass
