Every family, house, city, country, state has its own history. In the historical part of Lutsk (Ukraine) there are many interesting houses with their history. Some houses have lost their authenticity, while others have retained their charm of that time. One window stuck in my memory. It was once believed that the Window is a symbol of the idea of penetration, of various possibilities; consciousness, light. Through the hole a person communicates with the outside world. It plays a significant role as a detail of human habitation. The symbolism of the window is associated with the ancient beliefs of the ancestors of Ukrainians, which are reflected in the orders, rituals, songs and more.

The work is done on watercolor paper and in one breath.


On the back of the work is signed the time of execution and the name of the work in Ukrainian.
