Original artwork description:

This was the side window of a 200+ years old shophouse in Penang, Malaysia, where we were during a trip in 2019, I think. The whole row of shophouses was just gorgeous, most of them being taken over by vegetation, but this one in particular it seemed as it was now being held in place by the trees that were part of the walls. And yet it looked perfectly habitable, in fact quite sturdy as a structure. The paint on the walls faded or outright fallen, revealing the many layers given through the decades, with that ubiquitous darker teal at various exposed parts. Unique blend of colors, plants and architecture. The painting almost doesn't do justice to how old charm glamorous it was.
