Original artwork description:

This oil and mixed media painting is one from my new series of paintings depicting views out of a train window. I've spent time doing loads of quick charcoal sketches and worked from them to create semi abstract paintings of my memories of the landscapes and seascapes that caught my attention. This piece shows one of the many waterways weaving their way through the landscapes. I've started the painting with a layer of acrylics followed by layers of oil paint. The painting is ready to hang and has Paynes grey painted edges.

Oils, acrylics, charcoal, pastel, cold wax, glazing medium.
