The stunning gardens of Wimpole Hall in Cambridgeshire are beautifully portrayed in this dynamic colourful oil painting which was painted from sketches back in the artists studio. The artist has used the 'Alla Prima' technique of painting in one sitting which has kept the painting fresh and vibrant.
Wimpole Hall and gardens are open to the public and owned by the National Trust.
