Original artwork description:

I love the colors of a trout, the greens and browns. How they reflect blue from the sky when you hold them on the water’s surface. This is one of a few studies I have been doing of portraits of fish. Studying the jaw lines, eyes and profiles of the fish. Thick paint gives it texture and the appearance of movement as the light changes.

Trout Study is 10 x 8 inches on cotton canvas panel. It is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
