Original artwork description:

This is an original painting of the wildflowers in the Georgian countryside. In June of 2016 my wife and I went to visit the ancient Sapara monastery in the South of Georgia. On the way back I was struck by the beauty of the valley full of different wildflowers. There were numerous different flowers in full bloom and the bright red stripe of poppies was right in the middle of it. I simply couldn't leave it without stopping for the plein air. I hope that the viewer can feel my awe of the greatness of nature. Painted on a gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted white, it comes ready to hang and signed on the front with my initials in Georgian "Z" "Sh" (ზ.შ.).
