Original artwork description:

This painting of an imagined wildflower meadow was made by embossing dried flowers and grasses into watercolour paper, and then painting into the resulting textured paper using layers of gesso, inks, watercolours which were then sanded back and painted into again, leaving just a faint shadow of the original grass impressios.
