Original artwork description:
I began this painting on location at a meadow in Damariscotta, Maine. Then I repainted a lot of...then I repainted it again! I have been working on a series of semi-abstract paintings of meadows and they have inspired me to work in layers in oil on this painting. So there are layers of color and you see can see the colors peeking through in the layers below. It has also warmed up a bit as it went along - so it has a golden hue to it now. I fairly glows!
