A very small painting. Ideal as a gift for Mothers Day or a birthday.

This painting measures 30 cm square. It would look lovely put in to a white floater frame ( frame with no glass) , but can also be hung as it is.

The painting is a fairly realistic view of a wildflower meadow, featuring beautiful bright red poppies. Wildflower meadows are becoming extinct in this country. I have painted many of them to let people know how amazing they are, and how valuable to pollinating insects and bees. About 97% of natural native wildflower meadows have disappeared due to modern farming methods.

This painting is done in acrylic on canvas and the sides are painted white. It has a coat of UV varnish to protect it.
