Another wildflower meadow painting in my popular series. This one is based on beautiful , vibrant red poppies growing among the grass and daisies.
I have done this series of wildflower meadow paintings because 90% of wildflower meadows have disappeared in the British countryside over the past century due to modern farming methods.

The painting is on a square deep sided canvas. I have painted it in acrylic and textured the surface to give added visual interest. The sides are painted white and the painting has been varnished with good quality UV varnish. It comes ready to hang.
