A very pretty wildflower meadow painting. Daisies, cornflowers and grasses against a country field. Naturalistic colours and many layers of detail.

It would look good in any setting. A piece of English summer to brighten up your room.

I have done this series of wildflower meadow paintings to draw attention to the beauty of them, but also the fact that 95% of them have disappeared in the past 50 or more years due to modern farming methods. This is such a shame as they are essential to birds and pollinating insects. They are also so beautiful, so we must not let them become extinct.

It is painted on deep sided canvas. The sides are painted black. The size is 57 cm square. It has a good quality UV varnish applied, and comes ready to hang.
