Here is another painting in my popular series looking at English Wildflower Meadows. I want to draw attention to them as 95% of natural ones have gone due to modern farming techniques. It is such a shame, and we owe it to ourselves ,to birds, and all pollinating insects, to preserve these beautiful corners of our countryside.

This one is very pretty. It features mainly pink, lilac, white and yellow flowers, strewn in long grass, against a country background of trees.

It is painted on canvas. It is painted in detail, with many layers of colours. I textured the surface of the canvas to enhance the natural rugged feel of country fields and flowers.

The sides are painted white. It comes ready to hang.
