Wild loch in Scotland.
A dramatic scene of a Scottish loch landscape inspired by the moorland and hills of the Dundonnell and Fisherfield wilderness often known as the Whitbread wilderness in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland, surrounding Slioch close to Loch Maree, Wester Ross. In this impressionist view I have tried to capture the mood, tranquillity and atmospheric light of the hills and mountains of this wild and remote area of the British Isles with a cloudy sky.
Painted in muted autumnal ochre colours in a modern contemporary semi abstract impressionist style.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
