United by the exhilaration of ice cold water, where momentarily the comforts of modern life are abandoned to feel something beyond words.

An etching and aquatint for my Wild Swimming series.

I have redrawn my pencil sketch onto a grounded zinc plate with an etching needle before placing the plate in an acid bath. The exposed line is 'bitten', leaving deep grooves to hold ink. I added an aquatint to achieve the tones.
The plate is inked for every print in the edition, meaning each one is unique.

Orders are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat-packed between board and shipped signed and tracked within four days.
