I imagined an abstract flowering shrub of colorful wild roses / Ranunculus ( one of my favorite flowers ) into a blue pot, on round red table. The background is painted also in impasto technique, with gold oil paint applied with palette knife.

This work is part of my ongoing series ''Flowers on round table''. I started this series of floral still lifes years ago and it is a recurrent theme for me over the time.
