Original artwork description:

I have painted this study of a wild rose within a mandala design to reflect the sacred geometry of these wonderful five petalled flowers. I have also hand painted a shadow box frame and then reverse mounted the image so that the flower 'pops' out of the background. This way there is a greater sense of depth to the piece which enhances the meditative quality of the image.
